Graduates profile and curriculum for the engineering studies
 

The branch of study "Quality management" can be studied at the Faculty of Metallurgy and Material Engineering.

Studies within mentioned study branch are divided into two stages. Natural and basic technical subjects common to all students of the faculty create the first stage. This first stage takes four terms. The second stage of studies (6 terms) provides students with knowledge of the basic production technologies, the application of the mathematical statistics and theory of probability in the quality management; common principles, methods and tools of the quality assurance in the all process phases; certification, metrology, testing, legal and social aspects of product quality, etc.

The graduates of the branch of study "Quality management" are the specialists for the development, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of quality systems according to ISO 9000, 10 000, 14 000, resp. EN 45 000 standards. They are able to applicate modern methods and tools for quality management and data processing. They have an possibility to ask for being certificated as the EOQ Quality Engineer, EOQ Quality Professional and EOQ Quality Auditor.

The curricula of all subjects fully reflect EOQ demands on the study profile of "Quality Engineer".
